The NWR PTO cannot be successful without your help! If you would like to volunteer, please check email us with activities that are of interest to you. A committee chairperson will contact you to discuss your availability. Thank you for your time.
Spirit Week Committee - (Bonfire / Tailgate TBD) (Chair - Teesha Pagano)
Help organize and execute any events planned during the week before the homecoming game.
Flamingo Flocking Committee (Chair - Jenny Oliveira)
When requests are received, to help deliver and pick up flamingos from locations.
Sunshine Committee (Lisa Benzaia)
Purchase and deliver baskets to students that experienced a loss of an immediate family member.
Scholarship Committee (Senior Parents Excluded) (Chair - Barbara Pilny)
Review qualified applications and take part in choosing recipient (s)
Senior Shout Out Sign Committee (Chair - Claudia Lobycz)
Families of Class of 2024 are able to order a Personalized Yard sign. We track orders, payments and then pick up and distribute signs.
Staff Appreciation Committee (Nadine Lubertazzo)
Plan, organize, collect items, decorate and fill the day with fun for our NWR staff with a Luncheon.
Back to School Night Volunteer - 9/21/23 (PTO BOARD)
Take turns at the PTO table during the evening to give families an opportunity to sign up for membership and answer questions
Red White Blue (Chair - Marinelle Blanchette)
Plan, organize, fundraise for the Athletic Award ceremony and scholarships.
Apparel (Chair - Shannon Haebler)
Coordinate apparel sales, liaison for apparel company, distribution.

2024 Tricky Tray (Chair - Marinelle Blanchette and PTO Board)
Tricky Tray Sub-Committees:
- Wrapping-help wrap event baskets. Starts in January for one/two nights a week for 2 hours
- Soliciting-visit local businesses you frequent to solicit donations
- Mailings-write out and stuff envelopes for local and corporate sponsors. Can be done at home not at meetings
- Computer Work-type flyers describing gift certificates and place in picture frames (provided by PTO) Can be done at home not at a meeting
- Publicity-place ads in local papers, deliver posters to businesses to display
- Set-up-assist Friday night and Saturday (day of the event) to transport and set-up baskets at venue
- Program-type program for event. Must come to wrapping session to write down basket descriptions
- Ticket & 50/50 Sales-help the night of the event with ticket and 50/50 tickets sales
- Advanced Admission Sales-collect orders for admission, send email confirmations, coordinate table assignments and arrangements
- Runners-runners needed to assist distributing baskets to the winners during the evening of the event
